I just realized while posting this that I made this video EXACTLY one month after the last one. Bit of a funny coincidence there, huh?
Anyway, yeah, I've started learning how to make games in Godot! I'll be 100% honest, a lot of the code in this is NOT mine. Most of the code is stuff that I got from tutorials, as well as from other people who were wanting to achieve the same mechanics I wanted to. As such, here are the credits!
- CoffeeCrow on YouTube (basic platformer code)
- PhantomFox128 and Calinou on the Godot Forums (variable jump height)
- LukeRS on YouTube (parallax background tutorial)
- Music used: Internet Area - Rockman.EXE: Phantom of Network
- Background: Taken from Bliss, Windows XP's default wallpaper
- All other sprites, sound effects, and code by me!
I won't be publicly distributing the game just yet, seeing as how it has copyrighted material in it that I'm just using as placeholders, but once I replace all the copyrighted stuff with my own stuff, then I'll post another video with a link to the game!
